Split video showing the vistas behind each spawn point, each with its bespoke water surface, waterfalls, birds, leaves and other effects.
Split video showing two angles of the central flower, with its soft wispy effects, flying petals, and a gentle vertex shader based motion.
Several bespoke water effects around the map using a mix of techniques to achieve cheap reflections, refraction and caustics, splashes, ripples etc.
Wide shot of the C site showing the water streams, wet floor, reflected caustics on the back wall, light shafts, soft glows emanating from flowers, dust motes and falling leaves.
Close up of one of the water fountains showing the features mentioned above working in tandem to achieve a convincing result.
In this map there are a lot of ambient effects such as falling leaves, dust motes etc. that we built with simple meshes using a vertex shader technique for a lower performance hit.
